There is a current rumor suggesting that the Director General of the National Centre for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (CNRP) of Etoug-Ebé in Yaoundé, Alexandre Manga, has approved someone to help with the issue of disability cards in the districts of the departments of Mbam and Inoubou and Mbam and Kim (Centre). This is not true.

The Director denied it in a statement released on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. He said the individual in question, who goes by the name of Ambata Nyamoro, was a patient of the center and has never been a member of staff or an agent entrusted with any operation in Mbam.

“The Director General of CNRP strongly denounces these fraudulent acts, which are false and harmful to people with disabilities and other authorities,” reacts Alexandre Manga. He calls on both authorities and populations to be vigilant and to report such acts.
