Recently, some people have been scouring markets introducing themselves as UBA Cameroon’s employees convincing traders to make daily deposits. That way, they say, those traders can save time and make deposits in their savings accounts.
This is a scam scheme. UBA Cameroon S.A indicates that it does not make daily cash collections in markets or any public or private areas via those who are commonly called "Aladji". "Anybody dealing with these fake agents is doing this at their own expense," the bank says.
UBA reminds that cash deposits should be made at its agencies and validated by receipts.
