Rumors on social networks suggest that the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot) is currently organizing a Futsal and Beach Soccer competition, calling teams to register. This is fake news.

In a statement released last August 24, the federation denied the information. The document signed by the Secretary General Martin Etonge, featured this: “this is to inform that the Fecafoot is not currently organizing any Futsal or Beach Soccer competition, whether at the national, regional, departmental or other levels”.

Martin Etonge specified that a Fecafoot official statement will always be made prior to the organization of such competition. The official therefore called citizens to be cautious with regards to information on the internet.
