Jobs offered according to the notice include financial controller, business/financial analyst, bookkeeper, legal assistant, etc. Applications were to be sent to Cette adresse e-mail est protégée contre les robots spammeurs. The document, after verification, appears to be fake. Adding to the fact that it is full of spelling mistakes, the mail indicated has the wrong extension. The ministry’s professional mail extension is gov.cm, not gmail.com.

Moreover, on January 15, the minister of finance, Louis Paul Motaze denied the announcement saying: “The recruitment process in public administrations is handled exclusively by the ministry of public works and administrative reforms.” He then urged populations to be more cautious and warned those behind the scheme that they are liable to judicial proceedings. He also informed that reliable information is available on the ministry’s official website (www.minfi.gov.cm).
