The alert was given by the Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Reform (Minfopra). In a press release on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, Joseph Lé warned against a fake announcement attributed to his department about an alleged procedure for the recruitment of kindergarten and primary education staff. The fake ad said interested persons should pay CFA14,000.

This is yet another attempt to scam people, Joseph Lé warns. The minister said that for any information related to any recruitment whatsoever in the Cameroonian public administration, job seekers should contact the Directorate of Human Resources Development of the State (DDRHE), on the fourth floor of his ministerial department in Yaoundé, doors 405 and 409. They can also consult the department’s website and official Facebook page.
