Ever since the day Ahmad Ahmad expressed his concerns about the effective organization of AFCON2019 in Cameroon, concerns have been raised.  

Many people wonder which country will organize it: Cameroon or Morocco? The short answer is this: Cameroon will organize AFCON2019. However, Morocco offered its services to help Cameroon in this task. They concluded the agreement on March 6, 2018, in Marrakech during the symposium on women football.

Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Moroccan football federation confirmed the collaboration during a press conference. “I told the president (Dieudonné Happi): you choose our collaboration angles. As of today, we are with you to offer our equipment and experience for the organization of AFCON2019, the first with 24 teams, a celebration of African football on the soil of our dear brother and friend Cameroon”,  he said in the statement published by cafonline.com.

It is not an official co-organization as it was the case for Ghana-Nigeria in 2000 or Gabon-Equatorial Guinea in 2012.  The collaboration is subsequent to the inspection visit of CAF in Cameroon in January 2018.
