People get trapped by scammers who promise them visas to France and the phenomenon is recurrent in Cameroon. Some say they paid “intermediaries” (who are in reality scammers) to obtain visas to France. But processes always come to nothing.

“Users of the consular section and the visa service who are approached by middlemen should be aware,” the French Embassy warns. “It is recalled that fees may only be paid within the Embassy to duly authorized agents. As far as visas are concerned, they do not require any payment other than that requested at the cash register when the application is submitted.”

Let’s note that it’s not the first warning from the embassy but people continue to fall into the trap.
