“Vacancy ads or fictitious job offers, invitations to job interviews” are published on the Internet or by telephone calls from people claiming to represent the American Program. This is fake, Claire Sartiaux, representative in Cameroon for the USAID-funded Community Initiative Support Program (Paic), said in a statement September 18.

“Please note that all Paic vacancies and calls for tenders are advertised on Paic's website, www.paic.info, in the national newspaper, including Cameroon Tribune (for job offers) and Œil du Sahel (for calls for tenders),” she warned.

The US Program warns people that Paic does not authorize or sponsor consultants, agencies or organizations which, through website postings or otherwise, claim to charge fees on behalf of Paic to recruit or facilitate employment processes.
