Those who used to avoid offering their services to Cameroon’s social security fund Cnps because it was qualified as a bad payer can now revise their positions.
Indeed, in a statement published on June 18, 2018, Alain Noël Olivier Mekulu Mvondo Akame, announced that the public institution will now pay its contractors within seven days after they submit their payment files to the financial department. “The payment will be wired to their bank accounts and a notification email sent to them”, he said.
M. Mekulu Mvondo also explained that the Cnps was counting on the quality of the goods and services supplied by those contractors.
