The University of Bamenda validated its development plan during a seminar held on October 9 in Yaoundé. The strategic plan, which was presented by the Rector, Theresia Nkuo-Akenji, will enable the University to better ensure the professionalization of teaching and the employability of its graduates.
This state university wants to achieve its objective by improving the supply of infrastructure and recruiting more teachers. As a reminder, the education center has joined the E-National Higher Education Network project, part of which 500,000 computers have been distributed to Cameroonian students, both in private and public institutions. The project is in line with the government's digital governance for higher education strategy
The E-National Higher Education Network project also plans the construction and equipping of a digital development center in each of Cameroon's eight state universities.
