Numerous Facebook pages bear the name of the 31-year-old Cameroonian striker Éric Maxim Choupo-Moting who recently signed a 1-year deal with Bayern Munich. Some of these pages have numerous followers (up to 98,000 for this one). These pages are all fake since the former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player does not even have a Facebook account.

He is only present on Instagram. His Instagram account @mr.choupo is verified to prove to followers that he is the real user of the account.

The cover picture used by this fake Facebook page was posted on Instagram by the striker on July 31 to celebrate the victory of PSG against Olympique Marseille (OM).

To warn his followers and internet users, he made an Instagram post indicating that he has no Facebook, Twitter, or Snapchat account. So, they should beware of fraudsters using his name on these social networks.
