It is the only region in the country to achieve this feat. The Littoral region follows closely, with 98% of its 332 km of national roads paved.

The Centre region, despite having the longest stretch of national roads at 1,145 km, has 90% of them paved. The Far North completes the top four, with 81% of its 467 km of roads paved.

The North-West region, although having the least dense network of national roads, has paved 48% of them. However, the Eastern region has the lowest rate of paved roads at 40%, despite having a total of 671 km of roads.

Other regions include the South with 68% of its 926 km of roads paved, the South-West and North both with 51% of their 471 km and 547 km of roads paved respectively, and Adamaoua with 49% of its 684 km of roads paved.
