The National Social Insurance Fund (CNPS) recently unveiled a dedicated platform for remote registration. According to CNPS CEO Noêl Alain Olivier Mekulu Mvondo, the aim is to "facilitate and considerably reduce processing times for registrations."

The platform enables employers and workers to "self-register and obtain an employer and/or insured number directly," from the CNPS website, he adds. For the CNPS CEO, "full employer/insured tele-registration remains the preferred and quickest way of obtaining a registration number."

In recent years, the CNPS has embarked on a process to fully dematerialize its services. For instance, it has digitized calls for tenders, pension payments, salary declarations, benefit applications, and social security payments. Employers and insureds no longer have to travel to CNPS headquarters except when difficulties arise or when they are summoned. 

At the time, Mukulu Mvondo asserted that the successful launch of what seems to be a high-tech service by CNPS is attributed to an information system prioritizing user needs. This system provides enhanced assurances of security, reliability, traceability, speed, and data availability, we learnt.
