The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the provisional list of stadiums eligible to host matches for the 5th round of the group stage qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN).

Out of the 28 shortlisted stadiums, three are in Cameroon. These include the Réunification and Japoma stadiums in Douala (Littoral region), and the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua, located in the North region. However, the Ahmadou Ahidjo Multipurpose Stadium and the Olembé Stadium in Yaoundé are not included in this list. The former was among the four Cameroonian stadiums selected for the 3rd and 4th rounds of qualifiers in March earlier this year and the latter hosted the opening ceremony and final of the AfCON 2021.
