The sweets and chocolate company of Cameroon (Chocolaterie confiserie camerounaise -Chococam) is not hiring this month, reveals a press statement released by the firm on July 25.
In its statemennt, Chococam warns the public that ill-intended individuals have been sending SMS and messages on social networks concerning fake job offers to scam job seekers.
"Chococam SA hereby will not be responsible in the case of abuse and urges anyone that got such an offer to immediately reject it. Chococam SA is going to sue those behind the scam and stop them," the firm said.
Chococam is the subsidiary of South African agro-food group Tiger Brands. In 2014, the firm expanded its range of activities adding manufacturing, import, export and trade of body care and household products. That year, it also increased its share capital from FCFA800 million to FCFA4.8 billion.
