The government has set up an inter-ministerial committee to monitor and control the implementation of the integrated management information system of state personnel and salaries (Sigipes). The decree establishing, organizing and operating this committee was jointly signed on 26 March by the Minister of the Civil Service and Administrative Reform (Minfopra), Joseph Lé, and the Minister of Finance (Minfi), Louis Paul Motaze.

The working group, chaired by the Minister of the Civil Service with the Minister of Finance as vice-chairman, is made up of the ministers of Justice, Defense, the Economy, Planning and Development, Public Procurement, Higher Education, and the Delegate General for National Security. The representative of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic and two representatives of the General Secretariat of the Prime Minister's Office are also part of the group.

In the immediate future, the committee will proceed with the recruitment of the service provider in charge of assisting the project owner and the execution of Sigipes. And subsequently, the committee will facilitate access, by the selected service provider, to the human and material resources necessary for the accomplishment of this mission.

According to article 3 of the decree, this committee defines the orientations of the project's work, approves the organizational, technical and technological choices proposed by the service providers, carries out the periodic evaluation of the work, and takes decisions as the project evolves.
