Officials of the National Assembly (100 in total) will receive, from September 29 to October 6, 2020, training in protocol practices and customs, country marketing, parliamentary diplomacy, and administrative writing.

This capacity-building session, which will benefit from the guidance of experts from the Ministry of External Relations and other administrations, will bring together all the administrative secretaries of inter-parliamentary bodies and friendship groups, as well as the heads of administrative and protocol structures.

According to the communiqué issued to this effect by the Secretary-General of the National Assembly, Gaston Komba, this training aims to “increase the efficiency of its administration as well as the contribution of parliamentary diplomacy to national development and the improvement of Cameroon's image."

Gaston Komba said that after the training on ICT and bilingualism, this session is the last phase of the 2020 annual program of capacity building for staff of the Lower House of Parliament.
